Grades 1-2, Making Inspired by Nature

We will discover the problem-solving abilities of the natural world by looking to nature to inspire our own unique designs.  Children will learn about unique abilities of plants and animals as they work through the design thinking process to uncover innovative solutions to problems that matter to them.  We will also engage in collaborative design challenges and use the natural world as an outdoor classroom.  This experience is sure to inspire curiosity and a new appreciation for nature!  This class is a new offering designed in collaboration with biologists at the Center for Learning with Nature

This highly engaging science camp will have your children working as real scientists to observe, investigate, and discover!  We will explore topics such as geology, astronomy, engineering, architecture, biology, and physical science through hands-on experiments and problem solving.  This fast-paced experiential camp is sure to get your child excited about the science all around us!   Since each semester UL students design completely new hands-on experiences for this class, your child can attend multiple semesters.

Grades 4-5, Science Discovery Camp

All classes begin on March 3 (3 hours) and wrap up on March 10 (3 hours).  When you register, you are registering for your child to attend both March 3 and March 10
